BUBS Club
Meg's highly acclaimed BUBS CLUB is where it all begins. The aim of these lessons are to provide the parent/carer with knowledge and skills to assist them in introducing their child to the wonders of the water.
Our entertaining and widely renowned 'Bubs Club' has four levels:
- Level 1 Babies (3 to 8 Months) :
In the Babies class, the parent/carer is taught the fundamental skills on water conditioning.
The caregiver receives expert guidance in introducing baby to water in a nurturing atmosphere.
Skills are taught for the knowledge of carers to practise in the pool and at home.
- Level 2 The Mobile Baby (8 to 15 Months) :
The Mobile Baby Class, is an interactive nurturing and social experience, full of information for the caregiver with a baby on the go.
Water conditioning continues, giving guidance to carers, covering all aspects, including the introduction of safety and learning submerging skills.
Age appropriate games and skills.
- Level 3 Toddler (15 to 30 Months):
A fun, interactive and animated class is put together for our Toddlers & carers.
It is paramount caregiver and Toddler be close & comfortable.
The bond of caregiver and Toddler is encouraged. Social interaction with others within the group is part of our lesson plan.
Key words and cues are practised by the caregiver. Covering information needed to incorporate safety skills within swimming time.
Submerging skills are enhanced to the level of each individual.
A clear understanding of each swimming lesson is acknowledged by the Toddler.
- Level 4 Transitional Toddler (30 to 42 Months) :
The time taken here is of the utmost importance for both the Caregiver & the Transitional Toddler.
Most times you will find swimming or baby teachers, are the first teachers your child will encounter in their little life.
It is important that the Toddler and caregiver are comfortable, familiar and relaxed with their teacher.
At this stage, the caregiver is given time to feel free to step back a little within class time. Letting the teacher take a bit more of a lead role.
All bubs clubs are great fun for the child and parent/carer. Our lessons are filled with songs and games that will keep even the busiest child interested.
